Role position and function of Ladies and Wives
Why the food is not cooked, dishes washed and the house not cleaned? How can you keep the house clean if you are chained to the kitchen table or always bare-foot pregnant and in the kitchen?
I am still trying to find out who gave a man the impression that ladies can be door mats, dishwashers, chief cook, coffee-makers, baby-making-machines, domestic workers and even washing machines. Some even go to the extent of thinking their Ladies are punching bags. Have you as a man or some would prefer the man, ever considered the role position and function of a lady in a relation to a man, well done, then you are thinking correctly. She was created to walk beside you, meaning the same level. No head no tail, no head neck or shoulders, no master servant, king or peasant, but rather both of you are in Pole Position.
I don’t know if you ever consider this in your relationship. What would your understanding of function be? Yes, ladies are different to men and one of their main and unique features is to be the best mothers they can be. Your function as a man is to be the best father you can be as well as the best husband to your wife.
Role, now this is one that will be decided in the relationship, but I think this changes from time to time. Real men for me are those who can wash their own clothes, cook for themselves, wash their own dishes, make their own coffee, bath the children and clean the house.
Shoot me if you want to but I think that men have a big responsibility and so do ladies. Men, she needs to be your “First Lady”. Remember, Pole Position. Give her the best, make her feel the best. Men you know what you should do, I am not saying who should be the bread winner and because, neither am I saying that because I am the man I deserve it. Rather, because you are the man you should and she deserves it.
So, ladies go out there and look for the real man who is genuinely the real thing in his mother’s house and in yours. I think if you treat her like a Queen, genuinely without ulterior motives, she will treat you like a King unconditionally.

Yesterday I replied to this discussion and had a lot to say and to my surprise the computer switched off and guess what all my hard work was deleted. I was not angry because these things do happen but had it been work related then you would have heard me scream. I decided to call it a day and try again the next day. I am up early because I am a mom with two kids my son 2years old wakes mum up when he is up-the joys of mother hood.
Dr Phil (Quinton) thank you for this lovely message and sounds like you are a real man caz it takes a real man to say all the above. There are some men who think like boys and act like boys, this needs to change – its time you grow up and the same goes for women – girlish ways and thinking is over honey – move to the next level. Where does it come from this attitude that women are slaves and must do all the housework. Parents it starts with you both son and daughter must be trained in the home and most important is to trained them up in the ways of God. Everything we need to know about your role/purpose in life is all written in the word of God. If you understand the word of God and what is expected of you then there should be no confusion in the camp. The devil is good at switching roles why because his mission is to rob,steal and destroy the human race and you know what, we allow him to take advantage of our family lives. Husband/Wife your role in your home is very important and you need to play it well, with responsibility comes accountability and you need to function in that role. Many of us like the sound of mummy, daddy oh! you know it But what can you show me. Faith without works is dead. You believe it but sit back- couchpotatoe and watch your partner play your role and think it is the right way of life – oh no you have a lot to learn and let me tell you my friend you are not too old to learn. Don’t come with that attitude ‘I am set in my ways, my mom did not teach me, get out of that pity party negative way of thinking and play your part well my friend. Dr Phil not only must the ladies find the real man, the men must find the real women. Yes some sisters are bad, they cant spoil their french manicure and work my self up doing house work I got to save my strength for important things Da”””””you should be in hollywood.
So what is right is right and need not to be changed to suit you. Dr Phil has broke it down for us all explained in the book of Genesis, she is your helpmate not slave, you not on her head or under her feet, its side by side, hand in hand, when you walk hand in hand in public what are you saying to the public, is it all for show or are you for real. In your heart your partner is beside you and you not sitting on their head and she has to pretend because she does not want to cause a scene, or the husband is the mouse in the house and when he is in public – cry freedom so he embarasses both parties because that is the only time he can breath or let his hair done.
What kind of life are you living, are you for real? Do you know and understand your role. Are you a positive influence to your children/family. Are you treated like a Queen/King or is this thrown out the window because of past hurt or experiences I choose to treat others badly and dont care about their emotions. My friend this is not dolly house, make believe days are over, its for real. Everybody deserves a second chance. We started off on the wrong page, make that choice to get that eraser and delete everthing on that page and start from the beginning. God has the power to wipe all our sins away and place it in the sea of forgetfulness.
I believe that this message by Dr Phil is a wake up call and once again we are remindered of our roles and how important they are and we should understand them and do a good job playing this role. I must set an example and dont wait for the next party or put all the responsibility on my partner. From a womens point of view men do things that will please your wife and dont be discouraged if you dont get a positive response because by doing this men you honour God by playing your role. Let me tell you if you take half of that load she will feel like a Queen and what will follow a private party for the kING – LOL because she will have enough energy to entertian the King. So you know what to do because you know the truth and you are going to make the right decision because you consider others feelings and also want to add value to your relationship so from today be a real man/women.

1989-1993 I thought like a boy/ girl and lived my life blindfolded and told everybody it is my life and did not care who was looking and rebelled against my parents teachings. Now I am a man/women my mindset needs to be renewed and think not of myself but my family because I am no longer single – I am unity with my partner and have kids who depend on me to teach them good values in life. So I need to be real and not be confused about my role and do my best as an indiviual by doing this I honour God and add value to my family. I am not just a number on earth but a human being who has been choosen by God with great plan’s which God has written in Jeremiah 29 verse 11.
So member take stock of your life and make the necessary changes today. Start off with forgiveness and confessing to God and your family that you have messed up and willing to change.
Communication – the key that will open doors and heal wounds.
